EAWR Electrical Compliance: Site Audit of Distribution Network

A national blue chip company engaged Inglewood to audit one of its medium sized sites against the requirements of the Electricity at Work Regulations (EAWR).

Other regulatory checks were being carried out routinely but the safety representative was particularly concerned about the electrics. The distribution network  had been taken for granted over the years and received attention only when things went wrong.

As it happened most of the site stood up to close scrutiny but the audit did uncover several matters that posed a risk to safety. These were treated with the urgency they needed. As part of the process Inglewood were able to offer practical advice on the specific issues.  And ultimately they were able to sign off a report that showed the site was at last taking its compliance obligations seriously.
